Missions Week 2025

Reaching Our City

March 16th - 23rd

Every year at Benton we set aside a week to focus on missions. This year we have sensed the Lord’s leading to focus on Reaching Our City - praying together, “Lord, your kingdom come, your will be done, in Kitchener as it is in Heaven.” The missions team has been working diligently over the last few months putting together a week filled with opportunities to hear from those who are significantly and uniquely reaching our city as well as to provide ways for us to be engaged in loving the Waterloo region well. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us as a church and we invite you to participate with us.

Wednesday, March 19th -
Neighbourhood Prayer Walk

You are invited to take part in a Neighbourhood Prayer Walk on Wednesday, March 19 from 7-8 p.m. The goal of these walks is to get to know our neighbourhood streets and intentionally cover our community in prayer. There will be several walking routes throughout Waterloo Region where you can join others in prayer. The Prayer Walks will be casual gatherings, where you can come as you are. If you just want to walk and listen in, we'd be happy to have you. Prayer prompts will also be provided to each group, if they'd like to use them.

Walking locations and leaders will be announced soon.

For those who are unable to get out and walk, there will still be a regular prayer meeting via Zoom with Pastor Gary at 7:00pm.

Sunday, March 23rd -

We look forward to hearing from guest speaker, Bechara Karkafi on Sunday morning.

Bechara and Roula Karkafi have been serving the Lord in the Middle East, North Africa and Canada since 2009. Bechara has been on staff with FEB Central for the past seven years and now serves as the Church Planting Director. He also serves with Fellowship International, leading their vision in the Middle East and North Africa. Bechara's vision is to see church-planting movements that are mobilizing the Gospel, making disciples, and building the Kingdom.
