"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. "

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

The 2024 theme for the Men's Ministry is the Buddy System

The Buddy System is defined as a one-to-one relationship with another trusted Christian man that you can meet with on a weekly basis to pray and share with.

You can listen to the audio from Sept. 21 below that will further explain how the Buddy System works.
The vision of the men's ministry at Benton Street Baptist Church is dedicated to equipping, empowering and deploying men in Christian service to their family, church, community and the world.

Men's Breakfast

On December 14th, Artur Borges from ShareWord Global will be leading us in a more hands on session entitled “Exercising Fellowship.” All men are invited to join in.

Men At Prayer

Prayer is the powerhouse of our men’s ministry. We meet via Zoom every 4th Saturday of the month at 9:00am for a time of sharing and then of prayer. We will continue to meet during the summer - please join us. The Zoom link is always the same, but feel free to email us using the form below if you don't have it bookmarked already.

Men At Work

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Galatians 6:10

This is your opportunity to do some Community Outreach, serving physical needs, such as home repairs, offering rides, feeding the homeless, etc. We plan monthly projects where our men can get their hands dirty as we serve our community. Working together also helps bond us together as men. To participate, request that your name be added to the Men at Work email list by either sending us an email or filling out the form below.

Men's Bible Studies

Our Men's Bible Study meets weekly on Thursdays at 7:15 p.m. at the The Kitchener Public Library - 85 Queen St N, Kitchener..
We are continuing to study the book series Every Man a Warrior, and are now in book 3.  Book 3 has ten lessons that bring Scriptural application to the issues of Money, Sex and Moral Purity, Work, Going through Hard Times and Making Your Life Count. These issues will consume most of a man's life and energy and it is essential that he succeeds. This study is led by David O'Neil.
Contact us at  men@benton.church to register or find out more details about either of these Bible Studies.

Men's Floor Hockey

The program will start again on September 12th. Men of all skill levels are welcome to join us each Thursday night from 6:30-8:30. The only equipment you need is running shoes, but you’re welcome to wear any extra protection if you’d like. There are some sticks available at the church if you don’t have your own. Contact Nathan Avery at nathan@benton.church with any questions.
Click on the link below to fill out the online waiver form before attending.
